Hair Detox

A hair detox is highly recommended at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled appointment if you are using products that are heavy laden with butters, oils (coconut oil), or plastics. 

Hair that has Cantu, Shea Moisture, Ecostyler gel, or similar brands in it may require an upcharge.  

It is vital to clarify your hair prior to your appointment if you are using those products. 

Use a curly hair friendly clarifying shampoo like Kinky Curly Come Clean to help you detox your hair.

Doing the detox will help your hair get the best results from the wash and go styling service. 

 

The Wash and Go Step by Step Styling Process

1. Shampoo hair with shea + oil + sulfate free shampoo (please do not cowash).

Favorites: Kinky Curly Come Clean, Malibu C UnDoGoo, DevaCurl Low Poo

 

2. Apply shea + oil free conditioner.

Favorites: DevaCurl One Condition, DevaCurl Heaven In Hair Intensive Moisture Treatment, Bouncecurl Cream Conditioner, Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask 

 

3. Apply a styling product with hold.

Favorites: Devacurl Supercream or Styling Cream, Devacurl Ultra Defining Gel, Bouncecurl Light Creme Gel 

 

Appointment Confirmations

With booking your appointment through Vagaro, pay attention to the information that you provide when creating your profile. 

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to provide your best contact cellular number and a personal (not work) email. 

You will receive a confirmation text and email from Vagaro for your scheduled appointment day.  

Vagaro will first notify you to confirm your scheduled appointment day 72 hours, then 48 hours, and then the last 24 hours before your scheduled appointment day.

If you confirm your scheduled appointment day on either of those reminders Vagaro will note that your appointment has been CONFIRMED by you.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT DAY.

If you have NOT CONFIRMED your scheduled appointment day by the time the last 24 hour reminder, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED as it was not confirmed by you. 

 

New Client Appointment Deposit Policy

All new clients are required to pay a 50% appointment deposit of your requested service at the time of booking to secure your requested appointment time. 

Your 50% deposit will go towards your scheduled service. The remaining balance of your service will be due at the time of your appointment. 

Deposits are due 24 hours within receiving your invoice.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

If your deposit is not received in the allotted 24 hour time frame, your appointment will be automatically cancelled and offered to another client. 

Please take note of the appointment deposit return policy. 

If you provide 48 hours or more of notice of cancellation of your scheduled appointment time you are able to get a refund of your deposit minus the Square processing fee returned to you. 

If there is less than 48 hours within cancelling your scheduled appointment time, your appointment deposit is non refundable.
